Community-based Planning Model for Immigrant Integration in Burnaby

Attention Frontline Staff and Community Leaders,

As part of our ongoing efforts, Stefanie and Sandeep, PhD students and research assistants with Burnaby Family Life and the Community-Engaged Research Initiative at Simon Fraser University, have been diligently working on this meaningful project funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. We have reached a crucial stage in our journey, and your insights as frontline staff and community leaders are instrumental in validating and securing buy-in for the proposed model.

During the session, we will present the refined community-based planning model, incorporating the valuable feedback received from previous engagements with providers and community members. Your perspective as frontline staff and community leaders is critical in ensuring the practicality and effectiveness of the model in real-world scenarios.

Kindly register by January 25, 2024 to confirm your attendance. If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to reach out on our contact page.

Your presence and input are highly valued, and we look forward to your active participation. This session is an opportunity to collectively shape and endorse a model that will have a lasting impact on immigrant integration in our community.

Thank you for your dedication to this initiative, and we anticipate a fruitful and collaborative session.
