Youth Employment Program
Agency: S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
Program Description:
SUCCESS Youth Employment Program (YEP) delivers employability skills through classroom training and work experience over a 12-week period.
The program aims to enable youth such as single parents, recent immigrants and individuals who have not completed high school to make a successful transition to employment or return to school for educational enhancement. The first 2 weeks is called Group Based Employability Skills (GBES) and this intervention is designed as a pre-employment activity for youth who are often not equipped with basic life and work retention skills. Participants will enhance their employability skills and get connected to the real work environment through a 10-week work placement.
