Program Description:
The purpose of the Portuguese Benevolent Society is to:
- support individual organizations, clubs or associations advancing issues affecting Portuguese-Canadians and their descendents in Canada
- advance, promote and revitalize Portuguese culture, education and heritage in Canada by supporting, presenting and producing high-calibre events
- promote and communicate Portuguese-Canadians concerns at all levels of government
The Portuguese Centre hosts Portuguese private and corporate language classes.
The centre also provides translation services to companies and individuals.
