Mentoring Opportunities: Service Provider Survey Summary and Key Findings Report

Mentoring is one of the practices identified to be highly successful in helping newcomers increase their knowledge of Canadian workplace culture and chances of finding work in their professional fields. BIPT wanted to find out if there were any practical ways of enhancing existing mentoring programs and developed a survey which aimed to

1. Determine key challenges that impact mentoring programs
2. Identify potential solutions that will help service providers to overcome the challenges service providers.

This report highlights the survey findings with the hope that this information can help service providers enhance existing mentoring programs and funders have the information necessary to support the service providers.
