Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)

Program Description:
The LINC program is the starting point for students whose first language is not English. LINC courses focus on vocabulary development, grammar, speaking and listening, reading and writing and settlement themes. Take these courses prior to taking Foundations courses. Childcare is available at all locations.
Client Profile / Eligibility Criteria
- over the age of 17; and
- a Permanent Resident and not yet a Canadian citizen; or
- a Convention Refugee

Start Dates / Duration
Students may study in the morning, afternoon or evening; full-time or part-time.
