Innovating for Employment Success
Agency: MOSAIC
Program Description:
Innovating for Employment Success (IES) is a one month program that will train participants in Design Thinking to use in developing solutions to a “real world” business challenge presented by a sponsor employer. Participants will learn new skills, gain experience and improve their job search strategies.
The program is a research project. 80 individuals will be recruited and 40 randomly selected for participating in the program. If you are participating in the program, you will receive a training allowance. If you are part of the 40 not selected to participate, you will receive an honorarium for only taking two surveys.
The training will take place at MOSAIC’s office in Vancouver, by the Commercial and Broadway sky train station. The 40 selected participants will be divided into two groups of 20 participants each and will take the training in August and September.
